Led by the scarce beams of light that managed to sneak in from the mouth of the cenote, the warrior swam from the depths of the abyss towards the warmth of the outside world. Intrigued by the gentle sound of bird song and the elation of the natives, Hunahpú emerged to the point of convergence.
